Rifle Barrel Blanks are cut to length and threaded by lathe, then chambered using PTG chamber and finish reamers to SAAMI specifications. Adjustments to chamber dimensions and the ability to customize throat depth will be based on the availability of the reamer and the viability of a modified cartridge dimension. All mating surfaces are tested for precise contact and runout (concentricity).

Rifle Barrels can be built using prefit/short-chambered barrels if desired, but they will be finish reamed and tested to the same tolerances and standards as Unfinished Blanks.

We offer barrel threading and chambering services for a variety of actions and have the ability to rebarrel existing actions as well. As a generalization, we recommend the use of Bighorn/Zermatt actions or Tikka T3X’s as the basis of a quality rifle build. We can service Remington 700 and Savage Model 10/110 actions as well but find a wide range of inconsistencies between actions, which usually result in added machining and finishing processes.

Our rifles are finished using high-quality components and accessories. In general, we recommend the use of Triggertech and Huber Concepts Triggers. For chassis and accessories, we recommend XLR, MDT, and MPA. For stocks, we recommend Manners, McMillan, or Grayboe with a Hawkins DBM. Components can be special-ordered as desired; however, we have found the above-mentioned brands to be feature-rich and fit the needs of a wide variety of shooters and applications. Optics and additional accessories will be discussed during consultation and build coordination based on the needs and wants of the customer.

Our rifles are tested prior to final completion and are guaranteed to a 1 Minute of Angle or better accuracy standard with match-grade factory ammunition, almost always far exceeding that standard. We also offer custom ammunition load development and reloading services, which will ensure that your custom rifle performs to the absolute best of its mechanical ability. Load development services are guaranteed to a 1/2 MOA or better accuracy standard, and load recipes will be provided upon completion.

Our rifles and ammunition have been used and tested in PRS, NRL, and Competition Dynamics Matches, as well as multiple successful hunts for a variety of game species.
